I wanted to post a update on Boston, He is finally going home!!! Yeah... poor little guy. He has been through so much. The doctors have discovered that he has severe reflux, and was aspirating whenever he ate, which caused fluid in his lungs and then caused pneumonia. We are so grateful to have caught this early enough to fix the problem. The doctors think that if we give him a month on a feeding tube, it will allow for his lungs and vocal sensations to heal. They are also treating his Thyroid as well. They believe that he will outgrow the reflux, and then we will be able to take the feeding tube out.
I am never amazed anymore, people are just amazing. Since I have been here I have had many experiences, that have touched my heart and uplifted my spirit. People are just amazing... I ran into Dr. Randall, he treated Hannah when we found her cancer, I often think of him and how grateful I am for his knowledge, but most of all for his compassion. As I talked to him, I was amazed that he remembered Hannah, and as a parent you want the doctors to see your child as a individual rather than another "patient". Here at Primary Children's Medical Center they definitely do just that. Our children are so precious, so innocent, and so pure, and you just pray that that is not taken from them when they experience sickness. Often times its a early awakening to our scary world, and as parents we try to protect our children.
I can say that Hannah, Boston and all of my children, have helped me remember what is important in life. Their innocence is so precious, and I am grateful they are protected, that the doctors and nurses and staff understand that. This is a great hospital, and my heart is filled whenever I walk in the doors.

BOSTON DAY #6
We are now at Primary Children's Medical Center and hoping today to be able to find out whats going on with Bossy.... They are doing a Echo to look at his heart and a upper GI test (again) then we will meet with the pulmonary unit to check his lungs....
Hes stable and seems to LOVE all of the attention the nurses and doctors are giving him! But the poor guy has been poked so many times his little arms have bruises on them.
But we are hopeful that they give us some answers today. Thank you for all your support, an prayers!

Boston
I wanted to post a update on Boston, since he was born we have not been able to get a diagnosis as to why he is always "junky" sounding when he breathes. He seems to struggle to breath, and has been admitted to the hospital I think were on our 4th time since his birth! Its all a blurr. This time he actually had Pneumonia ...... Quite scary for a little guy.
Sam and I have been here since Wed. Both of us juggling the kids and hospital. He is doing better and the infection that was in his upper lung is now starting in his lower lung.... Sigh poor guy.
They are now sending Bossy down to PCMC in SLC to do further testing on his lungs. The doctor feel like he may be aspirating. So I will keep you all posted, and ask to keep him in your prayers.
Its amazing how he continues to draw people near to him... all of the nurses love him and comment on his hair, and he always gives them a smile, well at least when they are oogling over him as opposed to poking him with a needle! BOOoooo.
We love you all and ask for your prayers!

Ok, So we had the best time at the Hannah Montana Movie Premier!! Thanks To Blake and Sue who got us the tickets and gave us heads up that there might be a surprise! And there was Miley Cyrus appeared, and it was magical! The movie was about to start and they turned the lights on and announced that they had a visitor!! Miley and her Dad Billy Ray came out and the crowd went wild!!! Thanks kids for a great time!!!

So here is the latest update on Boston.....
He is doing great, he has been gaining weight, and is just sweet and perfect! He is still on O2, but other than that he is doing just great, the girls just love him , and #4 calls him bossy when he cries #4 will come running in the room, saying Bossy!!!!
We had the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation over to our house, and it was our pleasure to learn about the foundation and all the help that is out there for these sweet little children.
They provide help for the children according to there needs, they come to your house to do physical therapy, speech therapy, and any other needs that they might have, it was wonderful to know that there is help.
I am so amazed at how generous people have been, and how much this little spirit has touched so many in such a short amount of time.

I LOVE YOU ALL
I am overwhelmed at how great people are, I have been so blessed to have you all in my life!!! Reading the posts made me cry, and it also made me realize how great my friends and family are!!! I wanted to say thanks to everyone for all their help and kindness, but most of all for your prayers and love.
Boston is amazing and just beautiful, he is getting cuter by the min. I am dying to bring him home!!! It is so hard to leave him but hopefully any day now. The main concern is maintaining his body temp, so as soon as he can do that he will be able to come home, he also has to be able to stay on the amount of O2 that they are comfortable with. Which he seems to be doing well. So any day now!!

Update on Boston
These are a few pictures of our new addition.... He is just adorable and even more adorable in person. We are hoping to bring him home on Sat or Sun. The doctor was very happy with him today allot of the concerns he had are not as concerning anymore, mainly his heart now will be the issue.
But he eats like a horse, and that makes everyone very happy!!! So all is well, and I will keep everyone posted mainly through the blog, so check in and know that we love you all and are so grateful for you!

BOSTON SAMUEL NEWEY
He is here!!! We are so excited to announce that Baby Boston is here! He was born on January 19,2009. Born @ 9:30 am 8 lbs 14 oz!!! Yes he is huge! And yes this is the only child that at the last min I decided to go natural....... And yes it hurt like a.....well you get the picture.
We arrived @ about 5 am after I had been in labor all day on Sunday, and all through the night, I was already dilated to a 5 so I decided that I could do it without a epidural, what was I thinking??? I really wasn't that bad until the end. And at that point I had no choice.
He is beautiful.... Tons of jet black hair!! And the Chubbiest cheeks!!
We were surprised to learn that he will have some special needs, he has Down Syndrome. So we are now learning a ton about what his needs will be. To me it just makes him all the more special, he is so precious, and so perfect. There are no words to describe how much I love him, and in a way I have always known that he would be sent to us.... The kids love him and are excited to have him home. He has a few concerns with his heart. I will post more when I have time to explain the details.
He is just perfect and a blessing to our family.

NESTING
Ok people, I am nesting!!! For those of you who may not know what that means, I am preparing my house for the baby!!! It needs a deep cleaning, so I am doing it, I suddenly have a burst of energy!! I just hope I can get it all done before my kiddies mess it all up again!!
I went to the doctor today, and without going into too much detail, the lil guy weighs about 7lbs and is not dropping ( moving down) so the doctor says we can brace yourself "strip your membranes" uuhhgg!! This is not fun at all, and rarely does any good for me except to make me feel miserable for about 24hrs, but maybe it will help speed things along!! The kid weighs 7 lbs, get him out already jk!! All in time!

Ok I totally am late on posting the birthday pictures for #1 but I was having technical difficulty. So Here it is babe HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! It was a fun day, and I am so proud of you and the great example you are to everyone around you.
She has been asked to be a "PEER LEADER" at school, which means she will be able to sport the vest that the peer leaders get to wear!! WOW! Fun stuff.
I love you honey! I hope your year is a great one just like you!!
Oh and yes I will explain the candle situation this time, so I go out of my way to pick out these super cute birthday candles because the last party we had no candles.... Anyway they were so dang cute that someone decided to play with them like a hour before the party & of course they lost them.. so once again do the math! BTW I found the candles in a sack on the floor of someones bedroom the next day!!

Its almost time!!!!
I went to the doctor on Friday and he said that he would start me on Feb, 1!!! Yeah I wont be pregnant forever! I am definitely looking forward to this day, he said it might be sooner, but with my luck it wont be... I feel like a elephant, not only because I am gigantic, but I feel like I have been pregnant forever. ( Aren't elephants pregnant forever)? Anyways we are all set to go I have all the clothes ready the baby gear is out. Come on little guy any day now! The doctor said he weighs 6.5 lbs now and is quite big.... ummm yeah I can feel the foot clear up in my ribs. He is definitly active, especially at night. Why is that the baby always starts moving at night when you are ready to go to sleep. Last night I had heartburn and finally got up at 4:00 and ate a whole bottle of tums smoothies ( they actually taste like candy)! Then I read a little. And went back to sleep only to be awaken by my dog.... Oh man I look forward to the days of sleep...ZZZZs

I am so excited that she has choose to be baptized, I think these pictures say it all she is so sweet and gentle, she is totally ready to be baptized. I am honored to be her Mom! Tonight she made me a card that said that I was the best mom ever, and wishing me a happy new year! Then she asked if we could spend the day together just me and her........ Precious Moments.

We had so much fun last night!! We went to my Aunt Danas house and played games, and ate food and ate food, did I already say that? We stayed up to bring in the New Year. Cortney my brother made sure to lead the kids in banging pots and pans.... Ummmmm ya it was loud!!! They played Wii and Cortney wound them all up I think only one cried! That's amazing! All the kids built a fort and slept in it. # 4 was the first asleep, but hes easy he just goes down anywhere at exactly 8 o'clock. #3 was the next then #2 #1 finally got to sleep... #2 stayed with the cousins, and #1 wanted to come home and sleep in my bed with me so we crashed about 1 o'clock!
It was quite different than most of our New Year parties...... But we had allot of fun!!! I am glad 2008 is gone, while many fun times happened, I hope 2009 will be even better!!! After all we have a little one coming any day now!! Hopefully not until the end of Jan! What a blessing it is to have a family, and the priceless memories that are created!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Hello friends!!!
I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!! I always love to start a New Year, its a chance to start over, and set new goals. Sometimes I don't accomplish all of my goals, but that's OK with me, I guess there is always room for improvement right!! I have realized many things this last year.......
1- I am truly BLESSED.
2-Friends are priceless.....
3-We are never alone.
4-My family is the best.
5-You learn what really matters, once you have lost it.
5-laughter is the best medicine.LOL
6-Children are the best examples.
7-There is always someone who has it harder than you do.
8-Don't judge someone until you have walked in their shoes.
9-Love is the strongest emotion (for me).
10-Its OK if life gives you lemons, because making lemonade is so much FUN ( and Yummy)!!

Mushy Gushy
I just received a E- mail from Amy, I thought I would post it.......
"You can live your life two different ways,one as though nothing in your life is a miracle, two as if everything is a miracle" Albert Einstein
I thought this was great, Anyone who knows me knows that I always see the "fluffy" side of things. I am a optimist, and proud of it. There are so many miracles in my life, and I am so grateful for them. As I look back I can see that I have been blessed, call it what you want,miracle, divine intervention, etc... One thing I know is that these things are not coincidence, I cannot deny that.
Although these days some that know me best see a different maybe a more negative side, in my heart there is still hope and faith that all will work out... I know there are many miracles still ahead in my life, and for this I am looking forward to the future.
For a quick example, many miracles happen through other people... I cannot name all of the times, but even just last night I was touched by a small miracle/ answer to my prayers that I received!
May all who read this never forget the small miracles that are given to us..... I hope that you all will live life as if everything is a miracle!

We had a big day on Saturday!! #2 had her last Basketball game and coach Newey (Sam) did a great job coaching both of the girls team this year!#2 team went out with a winning season!! Way to go Tigers!!! Then Later in the day the girls all had a Dance performance. They did a great job, and they all danced beautifully. I have to admit I was proud. On Sunday we celebrated #2 8th birthday!!!! She was in heaven because she finally got her wish to get her ears pierced!! She did great. We took her to dinner at Windys Sukiyaki and then off to Clairs. She cried silent tears for a min, but after that she was great! She has been a finatic about keeping them clean. Not to mention she got the 24 hr stomach flu and thew up in the middle of the night on Sat, but that didn't stop her from getting up at 8:00 to play her game. You Go Girl!!!!
We all had so much fun ( have I already said that)? Amy sent me this cute picture. Thanks!! The hosts were so great they said we were a wild bunch, and we were!!! Neisha said " Do you have to be hot to be friends with you guys"? What a compliment! Then she was so nice and complimented me on looking great being pregnant, she said that I looked beautiful......WOW ! I think someone even said I was SEXY pregnant, come on is that even possible. Someone ( Sam) must have thought that I was before I was actually pregnant, but now eight months into it, come on people! I have to say I have great friends. I love to be with them and they are ALL amazing gals! Thanks ladies.
